Stellars Lab ("we", "the studio") sets out below how information is handled on the website stellars-lab.com and in each of the products we provide.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the following.

• This website (stellars-lab.com and its subdomains)
• Tools: SizeKit, FLOW TASK, FLOW YOTEI, FLOW KAKEI, FLOW BASHO, HENSAI, Notipop
• App: Polaris
• Visualizers: ISS 3D, Solar System 3D, Near Stars
• Games: STELLAR ROGUE, PIXEL RUNNER, 2048 STELLAR GRID, CODE BREAKER

What is handled differs substantially between products. The sections below are written so that those differences are clear.

2. Information We Collect

This website

• Access information (pages viewed, referrer, approximate region, browser type). This does not identify you personally.
• Information collected through advertising (see section 4).

Products that run entirely on your device and send us nothing
SizeKit, HENSAI, Solar System 3D, Near Stars, PIXEL RUNNER, 2048 STELLAR GRID, CODE BREAKER

• All processing happens inside your browser. Images opened in SizeKit and loan details entered into HENSAI are never sent to our servers.
• Settings and inputs may be kept in your browser's local storage.

ISS 3D

• Location is requested through your browser only when you use the pass prediction feature, and only with your permission.
• It is used on the spot to calculate pass times. It is never sent to our servers or to any external service.

Notipop (Chrome extension)

• Text you select manually, the page title and URL (only when you send it as a note)
• Your Notion API access token (entered in settings; stored in your browser's local storage)
• The ID of the Notion database you choose as the destination

FLOW TASK and FLOW KAKEI

• Google account information via Google Sign-In (display name, email address, UID)
• Tasks, amounts, categories and notes that you enter
• App settings (theme, language, notification preferences)

FLOW YOTEI and FLOW BASHO

• Event names, candidate dates or places, and the names and responses entered by participants
• Email addresses entered for notifications (FLOW YOTEI, when notifications are enabled)
• Google account information if you sign in. You can create events and respond without an account.
• Free/busy information from Google Calendar (FLOW YOTEI only, and only if you grant access). We do not read the contents of your events.

Polaris

• Google account information (display name, email address, UID)
• The long-term goals, milestones and actions you enter
• App settings (theme, language, AI tone)
• Payment information, processed through Stripe. We never hold your card details.

STELLAR ROGUE

• Only if you submit a score: the name you enter, your score and the wave you reached, stored together with an anonymous identifier.
• You can play without submitting anything.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the features of each product
• To generate goal roadmaps and monthly reports with AI (Polaris only)
• To process payments and manage paid plans (Polaris only)
• To send notification emails about scheduling (FLOW YOTEI only)
• To serve advertising on this website
• To understand usage, improve the services and respond to problems

4. Advertising

This website uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.
• You may opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Advertising appears on this website only. Data handled inside the products, such as images, tasks or loan details, is never used for advertising.

5. Analytics

This website and its products use Vercel Analytics to understand how they are used. The information collected is limited to items such as pages viewed and approximate region, and does not identify individuals.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes.

• Serving advertising (see section 4)
• Keeping you signed in (Firebase Authentication sessions in Polaris and the FLOW series)
• Remembering preferences such as language and theme

You can disable cookies in your browser, but features that require signing in may then stop working.

7. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases.

• With your prior consent
• Where required by law

8. External Services We Use

Our products rely on the following external services, each governed by its own privacy policy.

• Google AdSense (this website) - Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase / Google Cloud (Polaris, FLOW series, STELLAR ROGUE) - Google Privacy Policy
• Google Calendar API (FLOW YOTEI, free/busy read only) - Google Privacy Policy
• Notion API (Notipop, Polaris) - Notion Privacy Policy
• Anthropic Claude API (Polaris) - Anthropic Privacy Policy (user data is not used to train AI models)
• Stripe (Polaris) - Stripe Privacy Policy
• Resend (email delivery for FLOW YOTEI) - Resend Privacy Policy
• Where the ISS at? API and BigDataCloud (ISS 3D, used to obtain the position of the International Space Station and the place name beneath it. Your own location is never sent.)
• Vercel (hosting and analytics) - Vercel Privacy Policy

9. Data Storage

Products that run on your device: data handled by SizeKit, HENSAI, the visualizers and the games (other than a submitted STELLAR ROGUE score) stays in your browser.

Notipop: your Notion access token and database ID are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to our servers.

Polaris, FLOW series, STELLAR ROGUE: data you enter is stored in Google Firestore, in data centres located in the United States or Japan.

10. Deleting Your Data

Products that run on your device: clear your browser data to remove it.

Notipop: uninstalling the extension deletes the data held in local storage.

Polaris and the FLOW series: you can delete your account and all stored data from the settings screen inside the app.

For anything else, please contact us using the details in section 13.

11. Children's Privacy

Our products are not intended for children under 13. If we unintentionally collect personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as needed. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Significant changes will also be announced within the relevant products.
